"The
Sower Sows The Word" |
The Mark IV Christian Youth Ministry, Inc. began to take root about 1969. We were officially incorporated as a non-denominational, not-for-profit Christian organization, (501-C3), in 1977. As a Christian family ministry, the Anders', Don and later his two daughters, Terri and Debbie, (Now Mrs. Ted Allison and Mrs. Lee Catlett), worked toward what has developed into a three - fold goal, built upon Mark 4:14, Philippians 1:21 and II Corinthians 4:5. Our ministry and purpose was chosen from the gospel of Mark chapter four, verse fourteen, which states; "The Sower Sows The Word." As God opens doors for us to go, we try to answer every call. We have ministered to groups as small as two or in the thousands. We are a total faith ministry and live in accordance with Philippians 4:19. We set no fees and solicit no funds; God has always provided our needs using people and since 1997, through Catlett Log Homes, our own family operated "tent building" ministry. As the Lord leads we go. The members of the Mark IV Christian Youth Ministry have a Christ centered burden for lost souls. We pray daily our Lord would use us the way He wants, as servants of the Living Word. We want souls won to Christ and Christians to proclaim Him Lord, then live daily like He is. I John 2:6 says, "The one who says he abides in Him ought also to walk in the same manner as He walked." The ministry's basic traveling team would be Chaplain/Evangelist Don and Julie Anders, Evangelist Lee, Debbie, Ben, Caleb and Elizabeth Catlett. On special occasions other associates may join us. While we are on the road David & Edith Loup and their daughter Faye gird us up in prayer, doing the necessary physical work such as the taking care of the mail and phone calls, keeping the witness of Jesus Christ before the local community. They take care of whatever is required to help us fulfill our Lord's call while on the road. Our prayers together are for souls to come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and that God would use us as families to win these souls to Him. God is so Good! Thank you Lord that as for me and my house (family) we will serve the Lord, wherever, whenever, and however You may choose to use us, in whatever time we have left, (Joshua 24:15). |
